During his more than 27 years of accounting experience, Jeffrey Goss has developed broad expertise in the area of employee benefit plans. He serves both multiemployer and corporate plans. He has led and managed hundreds of audits for plans ranging in size from $5 million to over $1 billion in assets. Jeff has helped clients fulfill their reporting obligations efficiently and in compliance with all regulations.
Jeff is an active professional in the employee benefit plan industry, and strives in each engagement to share insights into the plan reporting process that add value and assist in fulfilling his clients’ fiduciary responsibilities. He has worked with numerous labor unions and employers in industries such as entertainment, construction, distribution and grocery retail, as well as some of the nation’s largest corporations.
He heads Miller Kaplan Arase LLP’s employee benefit plan group and is a former chairman of the Accountants Committee of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Jeff gains further hands-on leadership, business and governance experience through the numerous boards of directors and committees he participates in and leads. In addition, Jeff has testified as an expert witness in legal proceedings on the subject of employee benefit plans.
