A-133 Audit for Nonprofit Organizations
A nonprofit organization in required to complete an A-133 audit if the organization has spent more than $500,000 per year in federal funding. The A-133 audit looks for compliance with general and specific government audit requirements which cover financial and non-financial factors. When you do receive federal funding you should let your auditor know immediately so that you can get help setting up proper systems for complying with government regulations and completing an A-133 audit.
